Timber

It was a little windy our way Wednesday night. My in laws tree up- rooted from the wind. My father in law is about 6'0. As you can see the stump is pretty large.
It is amazing how Mother nature works.
All cut up and ready to burn. The only sad thing about his tree was that it had a swing on it and the kids enjoyed it. They will just have to find a new tree to put a swing on!!!

It looks like the tree didn't do any damage to their home though - a blessing! I was up all night with that crazy wind, hearing branches fall on our roof and deck. The Hubby was out of town and I was freaked out!

Good thing the tree didn't fall into the creek!
That would have been tricky.

That was huge...can't believe the wind knocked that big one over. Wow. After the big winds...the city finally came by our house and cut the dead tree out of our yard...thank goodness, or next wind it might snap too.

A "little" windy?! Oh my gosh Kasey! Thank goodness it didn't fall on their house . . . I'm sure they'll have fun, finding another tree.

Wow.... we had one fall from wind back in January. I hate that they lost it but I am glad that no one was hurt and that no damage occurred.

Wow! That must have been quite a wind storm.

The Valentine party you hosted looked like so much fun. What a sweet thing to do for your daughter and her friends.

Have a good day.
