We were able to visit Q's brother's and their families this month!
It is always a treat to have some quality cousin time!
Attempt for a group shot of the cousins together!
Oldest and youngest together!
Scott and Kim made some delicious meals while we were there. We always feel like we eat like Kings and Queens when we are there!
Cute Noah!!
Penn and Waylon spent a lot of time in the sandbox!
Card games were played.
Skyler had a good hand... I think!
Stop!!
Stone in deep thought!
Playing with the sprinklers.
Stella and Evie together!
Cute Penn!
We celebrated Stone's 15th birthday. I love Waylon's expression.
Q and Scott tackled a bees nest! Look for the next Quentin Vs. Bee Hive on YouTube!
Waylon spent a lot of time outside too playing with bikes and getting the neighbors mail and bringing it to us! He also liked to cross the street and watch the combine in the field!
Blowing bubbles.
More cute bubble faces!
Swinging!
Still no new tooth coming in up top!
Waylon wanted to show his teeth too!
We climbed the Wind Caves with Stone, Noah, and Scott. It was a 5 mile hike.
Beautiful views!
Taking a break! It was close to 100 degrees that day. We went through 7 bottles of water and two powerades in 2 hours!
We are blessed with red faces when we get hot!
This picture says it all. This is inside the wind cave. Gibson was ahead with Uncle Scott and the boys. We were coming around the corner when we here Uncle Scott yell to Gibson, Get down, Gibson, get down! It is all gravel with a steep down slide to the cliff. The cliff is a 60 ft drop off. Gibson decided to run towards it! Scott said he stopped about 10 ft from the cliff. Notice he is not smiling and I am holding on to him tight! Yes, it was scary. And we couldn't get out there fast enough. I had never hiked before and wanted to try. This was quite an experience for us. Waylon tuckered out after a 1/2 hour into the trail . So we took turns holding him or putting him on our shoulders. Going up a mountain with him on your shoulders isn't an easy task. We also had to form a human chain to get Gibson along the trail. He chased a caterpillar and slid down about 15 ft. He had to sprawl out on his belly and not move until we were able to grab him. We all fell at some point in the hike. Us Michiganders are not used to the mountains apparently. I don't think we will be hiking any more mountains any time soon. :)
Despite this scary hike, we had a wonderful time visiting with our family in Logan!!!

I'm so glad you guys survived the hike! That's a completely unnerving feeling to have kids that close to the edge of a mountain :)
